Hunger Banquet 2009

With the alarming increase in the diversity between the rich and the poor, one of the numerous problems that have risen is the uneven distribution of resources, especially food. Food shortage has long been one of the major issues in Third World Nations that is constantly reported in the media. It has also been the hottest topic of discussion and action requiring constant attention out by non-governmental aid agencies as well as being an area of focus of the United Nations.......

Feast Day Mass
|
Feast of Saint Joseph has been a Catholic custom since the tenth century, and was brought to St. Joseph’s College in memorial of her holy patron, Saint Joseph. Saint Joseph bears the responsibility of caring and protecting the Virgin, Mary and Jesus Christ, throughout his life. St Joseph is considered as the patron and protector of the entire Church.............

Internal Talent Quest 2009

An event jointly organized by the Student Union and Music Society, the ITQ was a night where many flocked from other institutes to the noble campus of SJC to catch of glimpse of the splendour its students offered. The ITQ kicked off at 6 pm on the night of 11th April, 2009. An eager crowd had already gathered outside the entrance where beyond the iron gates was an examination-turned concert hall that was eagerly awaiting its enthusiastic audience........

61st Hong Kong Schoolˇ¦s Music Festival ˇV Melodica Band and Ensemble Champion
|
Our melodica band has just captured a historic ˇ§grand-slamˇ¨ in the Hong Kong Schoolˇ¦s 61st Music Festival ˇV capturing the champions of both events (band and ensemble) and the 1st runner-up in the same ensemble class. So it is actually three de facto champions! At 9:30 am on 3-3-2009 (Tue), eight elites from our band, forming two quartettes, went to Martha Boss Community Centre in Ho Man Tin......
