140th Anniversary Mass

2015-03-30 11:00:00

On the 19th March, 2015, students, teachers and all staff of St. Joseph's College came together to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. It was a thanksgiving mass in order to be grateful to the Lord as well as to St. Joseph for bestowing St. Joseph's College all the blessings it has been receiving in the past 140 years. The Mass was presided by John Cardinal Tong, Bishop of Hong Kong, concelebrated by three priests: Fr. Patrick Sun (SJC Old Boy), Fr. Edward Khong (LSC Old Boy), and Fr. Joey Mandia (our school chaplain) and assisted by two deacons: Francis Cheung (SJC Old Boy) and Carlos Cheung (SJPS Old Boy). Our Supervisor, Bro. Jeffrey gave a speech, emphasizing our dual identities as Josephians and Lasallians. After mass, the old boys flocked round their beloved Bro. Thomas asking for a photo and he gladly obliged every request.
