Activities

Before the Recruitment Week, the President will make contact with old members of the Society currently studying in Form 1 and Form 2 in hope to invite them back to the club. For this event, we anticipate that we will need some paper, two tables, two chairs, a board on which we will put our Societyˇ¦s poster, a box, and a list.

We plan to visit the General Post Office in November. Through this activity, we hope to give members a general perception on how letters are handled and what the daily work consists of in a post office. This, we expect, would be one of the most meaningful activities of the year that the majority of members would have interest in. Also, if approved and confirmed, we may welcome non-members to participate.

The Joint-Club Barbeque of our Society will be held in the December of 2005 with objective of strengthening communication and interaction between members within our club, and between our members and members of other clubs at Saint Josephˇ¦s College. The venue of this event has yet to be decided.

We hope to organize this event some time in April. This will be similar to the visit to the General Post Office, but of a much larger scale. We still need to decide the school we will be in joint with for this event.

The exact events and activities we will be holding have yet to be confirmed. However,

we anticipate our activities to be similar to those of last year.

we believe the talk would benefit our members by conferring upon them intriguing facts about stamps and postage. If this plan is approved, the Public Relations Officer shall be responsible for contacting the people concerned.

We are also uncertain about this event as this would be the last on our agenda. The date, location, and particulars regarding this activity will be confirmed at a later date.
